How to Style :: Winter Brights

I've been feeling a tad under-the-weather these past few days, I think it's more allergies than actual sickness, but nonetheless it's annoying and has resulted in me being mopey and helpless around the house. It has also effected my outfit choices - blacks and greys and muted browns have been my go-tos, no one wants to pair neon pink with a stuffy nose and water eyes (a handful of tissues are my new 'it' accessory).

February, though the shortest, tends to be the toughest month every winter, you're officially off the high of the holidays, it's bitter cold and brings us most of the snow for the entire winter season, and your ultimate goal is to merely survive till the 28th. Who has time to think up fun, colorful outfits when it's 7 degrees outside, am I right? Well, today I want to help you (and me!) with some inspiration on how to easily add color to your winter wardrobe. Enjoy the collages below and I hope it encourages you to throw on that neon pink, I know it did for me :)

Summer Bags that won't Break the Bank!

Summer Handbags

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! So, if you haven't figured it out via my outfit posts I'm not a big bag girl. I have my staples that I continuously use till they just about fall apart, lol! I've had my 'Baby Aidan' Marc by Marc Jacobs bag for a little over a year now and have been using it nonstop, and therefore with the change of seasons I think it's time to give the bag a little rest.

And thus, the hunt for a new summertime bag begins! Typically I like to drop a little more cash than usual on bags because I only really purchase staples that I use over and over. However this time around I'm looking to save some mulah and eventually bring the Marky Marc back into rotation come Fall.

I'm a little obsessed with the cross-body style as they're super functional and stylish as an everyday bag. I want something fun that can also go with various different outfits.

Have you all retired/plan to retire your Fall bag? Any suggestions on where I should look for decently priced, quality bags? I love hearing your thoughts!

How To: Add Pops of Color to Your Winter Wardrobe, Day 4

Hello Fashionistas! We're almost done with my first outfit series and I've had a lot of fun doing this, hoping y'all have been enjoying it as much as I have. I can definitely see more of these in the future :)

To start the end of the week I thought I go back to something simple that literally anyone can rock...a bold color statement bag! Similar to the scarves we previously talked about, a colorful bag can add that extra spark to an outfit and really make it interesting.

All my brightly colored bags are no bigger than your average clutch, which I think is great as the colors speak for themselves and shows you don't need an oversized, slouchy bag in sunshine yellow to really make it work. However, I am excited for the neon trend this summer and will be on the hunt for an awesome neon colored bag, similar to, oh I don't know maybe Proenza Schouler's PS1 in citron.... ;)

Make sure you check out Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 outfits and stay tuned for tomorrow's final outfit!
