Addicted 2 Shoes: Summer Sandals

I believe the warm weather is finally here to stay, so time to let you feet breathe and wiggle your toes in some strappy summer sandals! I'm loving the multi-strap sandal for this summer and the various colors and textures you can find. Pair these sandals with anything and everything! Casual boyfriend jeans (my fave), maxi dresses, a sweet summer dress, the possibilities are endless. :)

Addicted 2 Shoes: Seeing (Mint) Green

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! So who isn't in love with the color of the moment - mint green? As I mentioned in a previous post, we're seeing it in stores everywhere from pants to dresses, to bags and.....shoes! I've rounded up some footwear that are of minty perfection and that you should definitely consider adding to your shoe collection this spring.

I'm definitely considering the loafers from ASOS, they're just too perfect for those casual summer days. Hopefully they'll still be available (better yet, on sale!) by the time Easter rolls around and Lent is offcially over (only a month to go! :P). If I do get my hands on those beauties, I'd pair them with an outfit similar to this...

I love how casual this outfit is and how the loafers add just a touch of playful chicness.

Addicted 2 Shoes: Leopard Spotted

I got some new shoessssss :) I found these beauties on clearance at Marshall's with only one left in my size, so I had to jump on them.

I've developed a fondness for leopard and I'm super excited to style some outfits using these booties. They felt super comfy when I was walking around the store in them, but the real test will be how long I can last in them at work. I'll keep y'all posted!

Addicted 2 Shoes: Spring 2012 Footwear

Spring isn't really here, but the weather in Chicago these past couple days has been sunny, gorgeous, and in the 40s (which is warm by Chicago's standards, especially this time of year) and it's been making me think of Spring. Though we still have a looong way to go till it really starts to get warm again, retail stores and magazines are already starting to push spring/summer collections, and while I'm excited to try out some of the light, colorful confections we're seeing for Spring, what's really got me excited is....wait for it....the SHOES! I know, I know, surprise, surprise, we all know I have a shoe addiction, but some of the shoes for Spring 2012 are gorgeous and I just have to share them with you. Aren't they just beautiful? The colors (love that mint green on the YSL pair, they're probably my fave), architectural shapes (Umm, yes please Balenciaga), and overall decoration (Those Louboutin's and McQueen's - :D :D :D ) just makes them drool-worthy. Addicted 2 Shoes:Transitioning to Fall

So we've reached August, days are going to slowly get shorter, nights are going to get cooler and we'll hit that awkward moment where it's not hot enough to throw on a dress and sandals, nor is it cold enough to wear a pea coat and knee high boots. I'm personally ready to see the 90+ degree weather go and bust out my boots and chunky scarfs. I'm always happy to have summer come but also glad to see it go (and yes I am one of those people who will complain like no other in the middle of winter about how summer can't come fast enough ;]).

Being in this weird transition phase, it makes one question - what do I wear.....on my feet? I'm a big fan of layers during the "transitioning" stage, but I've always had difficulty with what shoes to wear as the weather starts getting a little schizophrenic, so I've pulled together a few (ok, probably more than a few as I have an admitted shoe addiction) shoes I find are perfect for the transition into Fall. Get ready for a nice dosage of shoe porn ;] Enjoy!
