Addicted 2 Shoes: Seeing (Mint) Green

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! So who isn't in love with the color of the moment - mint green? As I mentioned in a previous post, we're seeing it in stores everywhere from pants to dresses, to bags and.....shoes! I've rounded up some footwear that are of minty perfection and that you should definitely consider adding to your shoe collection this spring.

I'm definitely considering the loafers from ASOS, they're just too perfect for those casual summer days.  Hopefully they'll still be available (better yet, on sale!) by the time Easter rolls around and Lent is offcially over (only a month to go! :P). If I do get my hands on those beauties, I'd pair them with an outfit similar to this...

I love how casual this outfit is and how the loafers add just a touch of playful chicness.

Addicted 2 Shoes: Spring 2012 Footwear

Spring isn't really here, but the weather in Chicago these past couple days has been sunny, gorgeous, and in the 40s (which is warm by Chicago's standards, especially this time of year) and it's been making me think of Spring. Though we still have a looong way to go till it really starts to get warm again, retail stores and magazines are already starting to push spring/summer collections, and while I'm excited to try out some of the light, colorful confections we're seeing for Spring, what's really got me excited is....wait for it....the SHOES! I know, I know, surprise, surprise, we all know I have a shoe addiction, but some of the shoes for Spring 2012 are gorgeous and I just have to share them with you. Aren't they just beautiful? The colors (love that mint green on the YSL pair, they're probably my fave), architectural shapes (Umm, yes please Balenciaga), and overall decoration (Those Louboutin's and McQueen's - :D :D :D ) just makes them drool-worthy.
