Just a few shots of the different ways I styled my twist out this past weekend...

All I really did to do each style was use some Leave-in Conditioner and my Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie to fluff it out after sleeping on it, then sprayed some water to help smooth down the area I was parting/pinning and then used lots of bobby pins! I also did a fro-hawk one day, but forgot to take pictures...next time!

I think my favorite is when I pinned back one side (obviously since I did it twice), you can't really tell in the pictures but it almost looked as if I had shaved part of my hair, several people actually asked if I did at work, which made me feel kinda like a badass, haha! What do y'all think? Any other ideas on how to style a twist out? Let me know!

Getting Kinky: Hair Inspiration

A little dose of hair inspiration...

 

 

 

 

Lately I've been obsessing over blonde fros and I'm considering taking the plunge, it'd be something fun and different. I've dyed my hair lighter before but nothing really drastic, I keep telling myself to take one step at a time, there's so much I want to do with my hair I have to remind myself not to do it all at once. I'm currently going on 5 months of being natural and I'm thinking once I hit the 6 month mark, depending on how long my hair is, I may get some sassy blonde highlights. But we shall see, for now I'll just admire the fabulousness of blonde fros from afar.
