Two of my top style crushes, Solange Knowles and Julia Sarr-Jamois walked for Alberta Ferretti's Pre-Fall 2012 show, along with Oroma Elewa. The three were all crowned as style stars by Vogue last November and were featured on their best dressed list. For Alberta Ferretti's show, she chose a special cast of international "It" girls to wear looks from her collection and Solange, Julia, and Oroma all made the list! Quite stunning, yes?

Getting Kinky: Julia Sarr-Jamois

I've been eyeing model-turned-fashion editor Julia Sarr-Jamois' for quite some time now, and I've fell in love love love. She has an envious fro and wardrobe to match, and I would say I hope I can be as cool as her when I grow up, but the thing is...she's only 23yrs old, which makes her younger than me....freakin' weird right?! When did I become the older one? Age issues aside, she has a crave-worthy sense of style and attitude - she mixes color, prints, and textures; and can be found rocking looks from rising British designers and other statement pieces found on the current season's catwalk. Recently she's been sporting Christoper Kane's neon brights (which I love) and Prada's eccentric patterns (which I would die for, yes die for). Her style is playful, retro, and completely unique - all things I'd aspire to be.
